Our History

Bedard has a long history of serving friends and neighbors in Central Maine. In fact, we’ve been in business for more than 110 years! While other drugstores have come and gone, Bedard has grown from a small local pharmacy to a thriving health care company. As the area has grown, we’ve grown along with it, serving the ever-increasing, ever-changing medical needs of our customers. Today, Bedard consists of three divisions: Bedard Pharmacy, Bedard Medical Equipment & Supplies, and Bedard Senior Care.

We’ve come a long way in 110 years, but one thing hasn’t changed: Bedard is still locally owned and operated. Our roots are firmly planted in the communities we serve.
